Late Georgian Antique Fruitwood Norfolk Armchair

This is a beautiful, tall backed English country armchair, originally from Norfolk and well made in fruitwood timbers. The back rest has a wide central vertical back splt with thinner splats either side. The arms are shapely and supported by turnings. The armchair seat is dished so is more comfortable. All in very good, solid condition and the fruit wood timber is a lovely, original colour. Perfect to use as a carver dining chair or a desk chair. Dates from around 1810.
