RARE Scottish late 19th century Chippendale style childs chair in the manner of Wheeler of Arncroach but in fact by J. RIDDOCH, WOODCRAFTSMAN, ARBUTHNOTT. This is the first chair we have seen by this maker. Made in the late 19th to early 20th century in mahogany. Drop in seat with needlework cover. The makers label to the inside front rail. The chair is in good condition with no breaks and no repairs but the seat cover needs replacing as a cat has got the better of it.
SIZE; 17" wide by 14" deep by 33" high overall. Seat height is 12".
CIRCA; 1890 - 1910
