An exceptional desk chair circa 1885 of fine quality & good size, purported to have been a barristers chair (note the the rebated curved stretcher).

Magnificent single mahogany piece seat carved to comfort shape, turned front legs with castor ends. Upholstered arm rests & raised buttoned back with scroll end surmount.

A chair with substantial presence on its own or suitable to accompany a high quality desk.

Minor damage to green leathered upholstery as shown in pictures hence the realistic price.
