19th Century Antique Sussex Chair by William Morris

This is a lovely example of an English antique Sussex armchair that is in superb, original condition. Made in alder and beech woods and in the period finish that has lovely wear to the arms and top rail. The original seagrass seat is in perfect condition and the armchair frame is in very good, strong order. Dates from around 1870-5, designed by the William Morris, the model is named, the Sussex chair. A beautiful Morris antique chair, perfect to use as a carver dining chair or a desk chair.
