19th Century Gillows of Lancaster Antique Armchair

A beautifully shaped antique upholstered armchair by Gillows of Lancaster. Very good quality and in great condition, traditionally upholstered, all the innards are complete and intact, requiring a new top finishing fabric. Stamped Gillow of Lancaster on one of the back legs and also with a paper label on the frame for Gillow & Co. This Gillows antique armchair has a lovely, serpentine shaped front rail and stand on turned and reeded front legs that finish in the original brass castors. A lovely, comfortable 19th century antique armchair by one of England's leading makers at the time.
