Fine 18th Century Chinese Hardwood Chair

Description

FINE 18th century Chinese rosewood / hardwood single cabriole leg chair of George 2nd design. Lovely shape back with carved decoration with cabriole legs and claw and ball feet. The lift out seat is original and caned, the canework being in very good condition. The chair is of pegged construction and is in very good order. No breaks or repairs and a lovely colour.

Could possibly be Anglo - Indian but I think most likely Chinese

SIZE; 20" across the front by 16" deep by 39" high overall
