A small and decorative mahogany cased clock, by Thos, (Thomas) Dickenson, of Boston.
The 12'' painted dial with a cheerful rustic scene in the arch, having subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with a four pillar eight day duration movement.
The mahogany case has inlaid canted corners to the trunk, and fan and shell inlays to the hood , trunk door, and base, and is raised on elegant bracket feet. The shaped pagoda top is typical of clocks of the North East.
