Quality English Antique Upholstered Reading Armchair

This antique armchair is a wonderful design and all totally original. Very well made and in super condition, this English 19th century antique armchair features high quality mahogany book rest that is mounted on a swing out gilt brass arm. The antique mahogany book rest can also be angled flat to be used as a table. The armchair is traditionally upholstered and is in good, clean condition. The armchair frame is very solid and it stands on quality turned mahogany front legs that finish in the original brass cup castors. Perfect antique armchair for an avid reader or to use in a library or home office.
