Here we have for sale today this very good Victorian office / swivel chair.
This is one of the best models all made in oak and having this wrap around back and arms.
Manufacture by The Shannon Limited, Rope-maker Street, London.
Standing on this 4 leg splayed base, with a cast iron swivel, rise & fall and tilt mechanism. A wrap around back and arms, with a scroll top back rest and out swept arms. A solid seat with a padded and upholstered insert. Recently re-upholstered in this very good quality tobacco colour hide and trimmed in studded upholstered nails.
Its been into the workshop for a clean and wax, with replacement castors at some stage, having this lovely medium oak colour and polish (please see pictures)
This chair is in excellent condition, with NO breaks, NO splits, and NO woodworm.
