Description:
The chair seat has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain burgundy dark green leather, which has been finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter. The chair sits on four splayed oak legs that terminate on solid brass & mug castors. The chair incorporates a revolving mechanism and it rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The mechanism also features a reclining action, the tension of which can be adjusted by turning a small wheel at the front of the mechanism. The chair mechanism has been cleaned, restored and serviced and is in excellent working order. The chair frame is sturdy and the item is extremely comfortable to sit on, as it features a lovely padded seat.

Condition Report:
The chair and mechanism are in excellent condition, considering its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair seat has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain dark green leather, which incorporates the traditional brass studwork tacks to the seat perimeter. Therefore, the leather is in excellent condition, with no wear, fading or damage. The reclining and adjustable height mechanism is in good working order, having just been cleaned, restored and serviced. There is some play to the mechanism but this is perfectly acceptable, and in line with the age of the chair. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
