Lovely quality early c19th French mahogany Empire desk chair with its original embossed leather.
Great style to this chair, whether you are looking for a desk chair, or an additional armchair, this is certainly a good option. The leather is of course worn, but looks great and the seat is very comfortable.
There are some areas of wear to the leather as you can see, but they are stable and not of concern, not unusual on leather approaching 200 years old.
Please make sure you have seen the rear of the chair which is the largest wound to the leather.
Well carved and has a great patina.
