Generous size pair of French c19th carver chairs or desk chairs in mahogany with fully reupholstered seats.
The chairs are unusually large with a generous size seat to them, so great for use as a pair of desk chairs perhaps, or as originally used as dining carved chairs.
These are a French pair of carver chairs or elbow chairs, the arms detailed and standing on a tapered leg with a shield back.
The frames are structurally good and sit very well. If they are to be decorative hall chairs, they will sit either side of a large console or chest with these proportions.
