An Early 19th Century Windsor Chair

An early 19th century ash, elm and yew Windsor elbow chair of relatively small proportions; the bentwood arched back with plain upright bars and a pierced vase shaped splat divided by the oxbow arms, with turned bobbin end supports, the elm seat with good grain, on turned supports united with a crinoline stretcher. Thames Valley, circa 1820.
