This is an unusually large and very good quality water gilded c19th French carved ''cushion'' frame mirror...the mirror can be hung ''landscape'' as shown, or you can hang ''portrait'' as shown to follow.This is certainly the best quality mirror of this style I have seen in many years, hopefully the photos will do the water gilding justice as it really is beautiful and in such good condition.Also, this is a larger model than you tend to find, large enough to hang over a large sideboard or three seater sofa perhaps, but also hanging portrait over a console table perhaps. Great mirror to hang alone too as the cushion frame really gives it a decorative presence...lovely to see it from the sides so would hang well in a hall too!Great condition frame and also has its original mirror plate and backing boards.
