Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Here we have a very elegant set of 6 Sheraton design dinning chairs. They are in mahogany and date from the George III period, around 1800.
They stand on square tapered legs with spade feet at the front. The backs are particularly elegant with reeded uprights and fan carved center rails. The top rails are inlaid with checkered stringing.
The chairs have had some restorations over their life and are now in good usable condition.
The maximum dimensions are:

46cm (18“) deep
