Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
This is a large mirror, very decorative and a refreshing change from a typical fully gilded mirror.

The frame is made in solid walnut and has cleaned and polished really well, as has the original gilt.
It has been cleaned and tidied up sympathetically, retaining its original character and superb warm walnut colour tone.

The mirror would also work well as a floor standing dressing mirror due to its height.
The original glass is lovely, but if you would rather a new mirror plate, this can be done for you. The original glass does have areas of age and spotting...let me know what you think, I personally love it like this!

Measuring:

Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £75 +vat, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland
