Large 19th Century Thames Valley, Lath Back Windsor Chair

Description

A lovely oversized 19th Century Lath Back Windsor Chair originating from the Thames Valley, The chair is mainly fruitwood with an elm seat. It has an unusual "Chippendale" central splat with the original owners initials (RD)

It has a nicely turned underframe with double H stretchers.

It is in good unrestored condition with no loose joints. There is a shrinkage crack to the centre of the seat.

It is a generous size and very comfortable.

The maximum dimensions are:
