Description

This is a very charming and extremely pretty dressing table mirror dating from the late 19th century. The gilt bronze frame has delightful detail which sets off the deep marbled pink decoration to great effect. This has a gilt bronze laurel leaf inner and outer border with a large ribboned wreath crest and dancing girls to either side above a beautifully detailed bow with ribbons and swags. The back of the mirror is equally pleasing in superb original order, retaining its original hanger and hand marbled backing and stand.

This is an extremely rare piece and is in superb original condition.

The frame measures 40 cms in height and is 28 cms wide.
