19th Century Antique Hindley & Sons Armchair

This is a beautiful, very good quality English antique upholstered armchair by Hindley & Sons of Oxford Street, London around 1870. This decorative antique armchair has fabulous, walnut barley twist legs that taper in shape and all finish in the original brass and pot cup castors. The shaped back support echoes the legs with twin barley twisted columns. Traditionally upholsterd, all the innards are good, solid and intact, upholstered in an old, red velvet fabric. This Hindley & Sons antique armchair frame is in very good, strong condition.
