19th Century Mendlesham Antique Armchair

This is a lovely antique armchair, a unique style of Windsor chair that comes from Mid Suffolk, in the village of Mendlesham. We have two available, so perfect to use as a pair of carver dining armchairs. Beautifully made in solid walnut with elm seats, all a very good colour and strong condition. These antique Mendlesham chairs feature a decorative, fretted heart shape to the back splat. Satnding well on turned legs that are joined by a strectcher. Dating from around 1850. Priced individually.
