Antique Painted Art Nouveau Laurel Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a most unusual hand painted Art Nouveau mirror dating from around 1900. The mirror has a beautiful carved gessoed laurel leaf frame which is painted in ivory and a deep teal blue. This has its original plate glass from the period which has an attractive slightly sugared appearance that is still in good useable condition. The mirror frame measures 102 cms high and is 66 cms wide.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
