Description

Circa 1870, exhibition quality ormolu mounted Yew Victorian vitrine or display cabinet. The serpentine top with an ormolu mounted glazed panel is over a cross banded frieze with extensive ormolu figurehead and foliate mounts. It has a large shaped ormolu mounted glazed door and conforming glazed panels to the sides and velvet lined interior with glazed shelves. Standing on an ormolu mounted base on shaped plinth supports.
