Large French Gilt Mirror 166cm

19th century
Description

Very nice quality and great condition French louis xv style gilt mirror with a lovely deep bevel to the mirror glass.

The frame is very well decorated, the finishing touches being the large corner mouldings at the bottom and the stunning cartouch up top.

Great mirror for an overmantle, but being tall and narrow, it will hang very well over a console table, sideboard or chest.

Measuring:

65 1/2’’ or 166.5cm high

37’’ or 94cm wide

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
