A delightful pair of elaborately carved Victorian corner chairs.
C1890.
The front leg is particularly nice, having a bold cabriole leg with a fruit carved knee and a large lion-paw foot.
The oak is a lovely rich warm medium colour, with a good patina.
The stuffed seats are covered in a turquoise-blue linen type fabric, in good condition.
In excellent antique condition.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
