Very good pair of French c19th gilt armchairs with beautifully carved frames and a generous size seat, circa 1880 and in lovely condition.
The chairs are a good size for daily use, not the small bedroom size.
Very well carved frames, elegant style and comfortable. The gilding has aged gracefully, with some areas worn here and there...these can be left as is, or I can touch them up with gilt if you would prefer.
The upholstery is not new, but is in good condition and the seats are also good.
Great decorative pair of armchairs, comfortable and good for daily use.
