Description:
The chairs are understood to originate from Liberty’s’ of London. These chairs feature five ring turned spindles to the inside of a single piece bentwood back rail. The back rail is connected to the solid elm seats and twin stretchers on all sides connect the turned beech legs, which makes them firm chairs. The twin stretchers to the front are also ring turned. The chairs feature a stunning rich colour with fabulous grain configuration visible on the seats. These chairs boast the classic rustic country styling; they would be at home in either a traditional or contemporary setting and they consume very little space.

Condition Report:
The chairs are in excellent original condition, with nominal old use marks to the leading edges (e.g. seats, back and legs) but nothing significant considering the age of them. The condition is commensurate with their age. This is a true set of chairs; they have not been matched together from other sets. Any lose joints have been glued and the chairs polished in our workshops. The chairs retain their original polish, which is why there is a lovely deep colour and patination. The chairs sit firm on the ground and do not wobble. They are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
