Antique Chippendale Mahogany Open Arm Chair C1860 Wdb90/11.11

This is a superb antique victorian chippendale mahogany open armchair and dating from aorund 1860 and being a chippendale revival piece from george 1-11 (around 1720)period.

It has a lovely serpentine shaped carved back with central shaped and carved back rest and with shepherds crook outsplayed armrests. It has a drop in needlepoint seat pad above a serpentine shaped frieze and stands on gorgeous carved cabriole legs on a claw and ball foot.

Constructed from quality mahogany which now has a lovely rich deep colour and patination and oozes the charm and character of teh chippendale period.

Measures: 36" high X seat height 17" X 23" deep X 26" wide
