A fine and original gilt overmantle mirror. The mirror dates to the Victorian period but is very much in the style of the Georgian period and would work wonderfully in a Georgian interior. The mirror is in excellent condition with all original gilding and the original mirror plate. The mirror plate has the most wonderful frosting particularly at the edges and gives a charming sparkle to glass. The whole is a great example of it''s type and gives an instant English country house look.
