Description:
Here is a fine quality antique Georgian style English George V beech upholstered children’s nursery wing chair, circa 1920, which has been newly upholstered in a light grey linen fabric, and is now in excellent condition.
The tall back is secured to simple solid arms, which rest on horizontal supports, connecting to the sprung seat. The seat itself is firm, which means that the child sitting in the seat won’t sink into it, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The chair stands on its original tapering beech front feet, with block feet to the rear; the front feet terminate on solid brass & mug castors.

Condition Report:
This chair is in excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered in top quality light grey linen upholstery, finished with brass studs to the rear corners and arm sides. The seat itself is firm and is very comfortable to sit on. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the original beech legs, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The solid brass and mug castors are in good condition. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
