Large Antique Early Georgian Country Oak Joined Elbow Chair C1730 Wdb3993/1.11

This is a large antique early george 11 country joined oak elbow chair and dating from around 1730. Constructed from solid oak and with late 18th/early 19th century thick leather hide seat.

It has a nicely shaped top rail with pierced central back splat and shaped armrests with thick leather hide on a curved support. The seat has a gorgeous thick leather hide with a lovely depth of colour and patination to it. It stands on squared legs joined by a shaped frieze.

This lovely chair is peg joined and has late 18th/early 19th century small castors.

In very good condition with a lovely colour and deep original patination to the oak.

Measures: 41" high X seat height 18" X 22" deep X 29" wide
