Lovely Set of 10 Antique Victorian Country Beech & Elm Chapel Chairs C1860 Wdb150/1.11

This is a lovely set of 10 antique victorian country beech and elm chapel chairs and dating from aorund 1860. Constructed from solid beech with solid elm seats they have a shaped and pegged top rail on squared side supports with two shaped back splats above an elm seat with round tapering and slightly splayed legs joined by cross stretchers. To the back of the chairs there are the original hymn book holders and underneath the chairs there is a turned spindle sloping support where the knee pad would have been held.

A lovely set of 10 victorian country chapel chairs in very good original condition and with a lovely colour and patination.

Each chair measures: 35" high X seat height 17" X 19.5" deep X 15" wide
