Antique Gilt Wood Overmantel Mirror Large Scale

19th century
Description

This is a very large and impressive carved gilt wood and gesso overmantel mirror which dates from around 1840. The broad giltwood frame has stylised floral decoration to the top and each corner and is in lovely antique slightly rubbed condition. The substantial mirror glass is the original bevelled 3/8" plate glass which is in good, order save for an ageing mark lower right. This is a real country house piece of grand scale look .

The overmantle mirror has grand proportions measuring 204 cms wide by 132 cms high.

UK delivery can be arranged and costs 60 plus VAT to most destinations.
