Description

Circa 1850, 2 very similar Dutch marquetry inlaid mahogany side chairs. With shaped deep top rails and narrow lower rails all profusely inlaid with flowers and birds in exotic woods; shaped marquetry inlaid uprights; overstuffed tan hide seats with brass studding, all on inlaid sabre front legs and outswept rear supports.

Size 88 and 87 cm high x 52 cm wide x 53 cm deep.
