Stunning Floral Design Chatelaine Mirror Birmingham 1916

A stunning small hand-held chatelaine solid silver mirror. The back of the mirror is most attractive with a beautifully embossed decoration, featuring flora and fauna in the most exquisite pattern. There is a loop at the bottom of the handle for attachment. The original mirror is in extremely good condition The back of the mirror bears the hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1916 and maker’s marks for the silversmith Crisford & Norris, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.

 

A lovely mirror with one of the most charmingly embossed silver backs I have seen.

 

Condition: In fabulous antique collector’s condition.
