Description

FINE & RARE pair of early George I walnut cabriole leg hand chairs. Country made but RARE being cabriole leg all round. All the original ears. Nice feature of a bead moulding running all round the bottom edges of the frame including around the shape of the ears also. Nice shape back splat and top rail. The chairs have needlework covers on the original drop in seat frames. Both chairs are a lovely colour with rich original patination.

There are one or two old repairs as to be expected on chairs of this age mainly to the bases of the back legs.

SIZES; 19" across the front, 16" deep, 40" high overall. 18 1/2" seat height.
