Description:
Benefitting from a high back (which makes the chair comfortable to sit at and ideal for stronger back support), the chair features a curved bar back, with a pierced curved fan back below. Scroll arms on elegant shaped vertical supports secure the back. The seat is upholstered with a padded tan brown leather hide, which displays a mellow warm colour, finished with hand tacked brass studs.
Condition Report:
The chair and mechanism are in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair frame and seat but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The seat is upholstered with a padded tan brown leather hide, which displays a mellow warm colour. Nominal old use marks and colour variation to the old leather seat (see photos). The chair incorporates its original cast iron mechanism allowing it to rotate 360 degrees and recline backwards.
