Exhibition Quality Superbly Carved Mid 19th Century Italian Lime Wood Table Mirror

An exhibition quality superbly carved mid 19th century Italian lime wood table mirror.

This table mirror consists of an oval mirror, the oval lime wood frame of superb ball bead and other carved decoration with lion mask to the top and bottom with carved scrolling foliate decoration with oval bevelled mirror plate.

The mirror is supported by two finely carved winged putti, both aloft superbly carved scrolling mermaids with finely carved fish tails, foliate decoration and stylised waves below.

The carved base consists of a central drawer with knob handle supported on four carved scallop shell feet.

This table mirror is in excellent condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home etc.
