Large French Gilt Mirror 180cm High

19th century
Description

Great original c19th French gilt mirror in the Louis Philippe style with original glass...good size for using as a dressing mirror.

Originally, would have been used as an overmantle mirror, but at this size, the mirror works well as a hall mirror, dressing mirror etc too

Some old repairs to the top of the frame which are in the photos, nothing major, but I have reflected this in the asking price, due to the restoration ( as in, lowered the price! ), although the areas are to the top of the mirror which you don't really see anyway.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
