Here we have fro sale today this wonderful Victorian mahogany and upholstered rocking chair.
All made in solid mahogany with an upholstered back, seat, and arm pads, manufactured in about 1880 by H. Sewell cabinet makers, French polishers & upholsters, of West-gate Bradford (label fitted)
Standing on large rockers with carved cabriolet front legs, a serpentine front rail. down-swept scroll arms, and a shaped top rail.
This is a stunning chair, with its original polish and patina, its the most wonderful rich mahogany colour (please see pictures)
Recently re-upholstered in this pretty silk brocade type fabric.
This chair is solid in all its joints with NO breaks, NO splits, and NO woodworm.
This chair is in excellent condition, ready to use, and requires no restoration.

Collection FREE, delivery available England and Wales, with the large items and chair sets we usually deliver to central England & Wales for the asking price, for further afield please contact for costing’s, we deliver large items ourselves, with all items packed and wrapped to insure no damage, with years of experience, smaller items will be sent by carrier please contact for costing.

Payment methods can be by Bank to Bank transfer, cash, cheque, credit or debit card. All moneys must be cleared before items are delivered or collected. We offer a UK, 7 day full money refund if items are not as described or do not suit your requirements (excluding logistics)
Shipping details
We have sold furniture to international customers, and have had their shippers collect from our workshop. We have also had items shipped abroad door to door all insurance covered, contact for quotes.
