This is a very decorative slate /dark grey painted Belgian Trumeau mirror.
The frame is made from oak with carved foliate swags and carved columns to the sides; still retaining it''s original bevelled plate, which has a very characterful ''foxing'' to the glass.
This imposing yet elegant console mirror dates from the early 1900''s.
