Gillows 19th Century Antique Oak Upholstered Armchair

A very curvaceous, English antique upholstered armchair by Gillows of Lancaster in the manner of Bruce Talbert, a Scottish designer. Beautiful quality and in superb condition, all the traditional upholstery is intact and in good order, with well turned oak front legs, open arms that are supported by turned oak columns and finishing in the original pot and brass castors. A fantastic shape and very comfortable to sit in. Dates from around 1875.
