19th Century Antique Armchair by J.T Scott Edinburgh

A very good quality, Scottish antique open armchair by the Edinburgh makers, J.T Scott of 10 George Street. All the show wood, the cabrolie legs and shepherds crook arms are made in the best Cuban mahogany which is still in the original, rich finish. Traditionally upholstered, all the innards being in good, intact condition and covered in the orignal calico fabric, ready for a new top fabric. This 19th century antique open armchair is a generous, comfortable size and is stamped by the maker on both back legs. A lovely, quality model.
