Regency Gillows Style Mahogany Desk Chair

Description

Fine quality early 19th century solid mahogany desk, arm chair of large proportions very much in the style of Gillows of Lancaster. The chair has been very well made and is of top quality. Reeded and turned front legs with lovely scroll arms. The whole chair with reeded type decoration to the front faces of the wood. Large swept top section. Lift out seat. All nice and tight.

The chair is a lovely original colour and finish with good patination.

SIZE; 22" across the front, 17 1/2" deep, 36" high overall
