Country House Victorian Leather and Mahogany Button Back Antique Arm Chair

Full of beautiful country house charm and character, this delightful leather button back arm chair dates from around 1870 and has a mahogany frame with scrolled arms and beautiful turned legs with castors. It maintains the original / early faux leather with studded trim with one small patch on the back. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
