Superb Quality Set of Ten Victorian Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs by J. Reilly

Stamped by the renowned cabinet makers J. Reilly, this superb set of ten chairs date from around 1880. Each chair has a shaped back with pierced back splat and they stand on splayed back legs and have beautifully turned reeded front legs, serpentine fronts and upholstered in a neutral green fabric. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
