A Superb 19th Century Chinese, Hardwood Arm Chair

Description

Intricately and profusely carved to a very high standard this beautiful chair is covered in birds, flowers, leaves, fruit, sea creatures and dragons. It stands on bold cabroile legs with claw and ball feet, the circular seat with carved front edge, supports the arms and back, all constructed in very dense Asian rosewood. In very good and original condition. 950mm high, 620mm wide, 600mm deep and 450mm seat height. Circa 1870.
