Below, there is a bank of refined turned spindles, secured by two horizontal bowed rails. The seats have been hand rushed and they are in good condition. The base of the chairs features lovely turned legs and a bulbous shaped stretcher to the front. The front stretcher is heavy and turned – a good sign of quality. The chairs feature twin turned side stretchers and a rear stretcher; which ensures the chairs stand firm on the ground. All chairs are made from top quality ash and elm, and are firm and solid.
