A Charles II carved walnut armchair with intricately decorated top section depicting the two boxes and an heraldic bird with a crown on its head, flanked by rope twist columns with cane back and seat, the front rail is similarly decorated C1680

Wonderful colour, canework intact movement in joints, the heads of the eagle/ mystical birds are replacements, but carved and in walnut.
