Small C18th Mirror with Tortoishell and Ivory Inlay with a Pedimented Top

Description

A wonderful small mirror A decorative C18th and later mirror  the rectangular frame with red boulle borders decorated with cut ivory inlay highlighted with incised penwork detail, below a pediment top (believed to be later)

the plate measuring 21.5 x 15.5 cm,

Measurements

50 x 37 cm total (maximum).

Condition

Good overall, the mirror may be a replacement and the pediment looks. Like it may have been added maybe in the Edwardian period, the untidy white tape will be removed from the reverse prior to delivery.
