Rare Antique Armchair by Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott.

A superb, very original example of a rare antique oak ladderback armchair designed by Makcay Hugh Baillie Scott and made at the Pyghtle Works in the late 19th century. In excellent condition, in the original finish and complete with the original upholstered seat (not the rush seat version). Baillie Scott was a well known Arts & Crafts designer and architect who designed nearby Blackwell in the Lake District.
